There are many places to choose from in this area and we were very pleased to have chosen this lovely Bio-timber house, where you take your shoes off before entering and where no smoking is allowed. As a result, it's fresh and clean like the lovely mountains and pastures just outside the door. Our bedroom was cosy and we had a great view, we really didn't want to close the curtains when we went to sleep and slept with the door open!

The house and area is very quiet, despite being on a small road, as all bedrooms face the mountains. There is very little light pollution so for a city-dweller it was great to sleep in almost total darkness.

The owner is riendly and knowledgeable, who was happy to provide us with maps and info of the local area. Free mountain bikes were also available.

The area is great for trail running, hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
