We have just returned from Herberge Ascharina and had such a wonderful time! This cozy B&B is a classic Swiss Chalet style accomodation tucked away in the Alps, only 15 minutes from Klosters. There is a wood burning fireplace, a fully equiped kitchen with very modern equipment, snow shoe rentals, a sauna, and even breakfast to order.
We felt that the facilities were in top condition and the owner Anja was very friendly and accomodating. She was very welcoming to us and was helpful when we needed suggestions about local acitivites and shops. We enjoyed hiking, sledging, and skiing in Klosters and Kublis.
The communal atmosphere of this B&B really makes it feel like a home away from home. There is WiFi internet connection, clean towels and cozy duvets for the beds. There was a DVD player in our room, but would suggest brining a collection of your own.
This B&B is great value and we will surely return in the future. A great hidden gem in the mountains. Enjoy! more
