We were told that the hotel changed ownership in July 2012, about four months before our stay. This might explain the numerous rough edges: testy staff and a run-down facility. That is in the city itself. Place is very big, calm and relaxing. Nothing fancy, terrible bungalow design, nothing to do beside laying down on the pool area or swimming. and still... probably the best you will get in Tarapoto.

We were 3 couples and the administration tried to give us only one bungalow for the six of us, in Pumarinri. We got the idea that the restaurant was not well supplied with goods as we were given rotten water mellon and no choice on the menu other then "tilapia". Very bad administration despite the place that was nice.
