This was my time snowboarding at Mt Hutt and staying at Methven. The lodge runs by the Cunneen family. Chris and Julie Cunneen were friendly and helpful in giving me good tips around town. The lodge always had a nice fire going. It was cosy and warm which was great when coming back from a nice day of snowboarding up at the mountain.
They have an outdoor locker to securely lock away my snowboard and a drying room in the lodge to dry all my snowboarding gears.
The price is reasonable and the self served kitchen is well equipped.
The lodge is in walking distance from town. Only about 3-5 mins walk away.
I am definitely staying there again next time when I am at Methven. more
