Staying at Breckenridge was not a good experience! We booked for 5 nights, but left after two - and never received a refund on the three nights we didn't stay at the lodge. Our rubbish was not emptied in three days, we got one towel each which were never changed. Units have no sound insulation whatsoever! We could literally hear... more
The website for the manor is misleading--the owners live in the manor house and do not have a private entrance which makes for an awkward stay. We were woken up before 7am by yelling and ranting and slamming doors. We were reprimanded for using the laundry facilities of the house. Rooms were pretty standard- small ensuite and tv. Unfortunately there was a bit of a damp smell when you came in, but it wasn't too much of a problem. Continental breakfast was included which was great before a full day of skiing, the only problem was that it was often a rushed affair with transport picking up from the accomodation... more
Its a nice comfortable ski lodge style accomodation. The hosts were friendly and there is a nice lounge area with a pool table. There is also a spa and sauna.
