Lovely 4 star property. We wished we were able to stay longer. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment, plenty of living space and full kitchen and laundry facilities. The rooms were warm and extremely quiet. The car park looked a picture of pink blossoms and we were able to park near out apartment. Staff were all welcoming and helpful.... more

NOT the kind of hospitality you would expect from a resort rated as 4 star and luxurious. On the week we were there, there was a large student group booked in. The room was so small that my wife and I could not even have both of our suitcases open at once. The walls were made of paper mache (or so it seemed). Ground floor 2 bedroom aptment..with views..just spectacular. Rooms clean, bath with spa jets..so nice! Went to New Zealand for the fourth time - this time to Methven for a wedding. Brinkley was fantastic, the service was second to none, and our apartment was just the best with views of the mountains covered in snow, and sunrise and sunsets- just spectacular!!! Maybe it's the word "Resort" that gives you the impression that you're going to experience something special and that's why we found it a little disappointing. We had a studio apartment which was very small. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which filled with steam & condensation when used. The restaurant was closed at that time of year.... more
