We travelled to Andalusia for the first time in April and we will come back. We were looking forward to Seville and its monuments but we discover a hidden treasure at El Rocío and specially at La Malvasia Hotel. The staff was charming and helpful. This is best described as a boutique hotel. It is in a prime location in the town for overlooking the marshes of Coto Donana and taking birdwatching and other wildlife watching trips in this very impressive nature reserve. We stayed in the best room (called Malvasia Cabecablanca - after the endangered white-headed duck) in the hotel which is a suite... more
