We had originally booked with Seguro to go to Gran Canaria again..but Seguro is no more:(!
Went into Barrhead travel and we got booked up with Thomas Cook for Fuerteventura. After reading the previous reviews online, I was worried but no reason at all to worry. These apartments were lovely. The poolside was great but a bit of a fight over umbrellas and sunbeds every morning caused us to go to the beach most days (it was either that or you had to be up at 7.30am for an umbrella and you need it in the heat!) Glad we did, the beach is 5mins away,if that, and fab! 9 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. Its a quite, quaint little place. No ticket touts, no hassle but enough to do. The restaurants we preferred was the chinese restaurant called china, just at the beginning of the stairs down to pieros music cafe. La Fuente is lovely for a nice steak but can be expensive if you order any of the specials of the day. Its on the street behind the apartments. Pieros music cafe has entertainment... more
