This is a lovely, friendly hotel that is ideally placed on Kamari Beach. It is surrounded by some lovely tavernas, bars and shops but is not noisy. The breakfast is nice, simple buffet style. The room was clean and spacious. The owers Spiros and Dianne are very helpful as is Angie on reception. Their taverna next door but one serves... more

We (husband and wife) stayed at the Boathouse for 4 nights. The room we had was on the second floor facing the Sea. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. It contained 1 double bed and 2 singles. Breakfast consisted of hard and soft boiled eggs, juice, jam, hams, cheese, cornflakes, coffee, tea and fruit salad. It did... more

Stayed in Athens a few days then took a ferry to Santorini. Spyros (owner of hotel) picked us up at the port (which is at the bottom of a winding cliff)-- if we hadn't arranged for him to pick us up, i'm not sure how we would have gotten to the hotel. When we arrived at the Boathouse our room... more

My partner and I stayed here from 25th September 2007 for 2 weeks! We had an absolutely amazing time! We booked directly with the hotel - they got back to us straight away so we could book our flights! When we arrived Spryos picked us up from the airport, literally a 5-10 minute drive to the hotel from the airport.... more

If you are looking for a place to stay in Santorini I strongly advise you visit the Boathouse. My friend and I traveled from Canada to Athens with a stop in Santorini in October of 2007. I contacted the Boathouse via email initially for information and recieved an instant response as to the ferry to the Island and a price... more

The Boathouse was perfect for the start of our first five days in beautiful Santorini. If you like the beach - this is your hotel. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view. We could literally hear the waves crashing on the beach. (bring your water shoes for the rocky beach) Spyros picked up us a the... more

We were very disappointed. Our room was not very clean, - we did request to replace the soiled blanket and another blanket was brought to us - not much better. Our beds were ready but not made - sheets were at the end of the bed - have never seen this before! Our toilet was leaking and when I talked... more

Good Hotel. Booked here after reading good reviews and seeing reasonable prices. I was not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful -- they reccomended sights to see and they helped us book an island tour. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast is outside by the pool -- food is basic but good. Location is great, as it is right... more

We are 2 married couples in our sixties. We travelled to Santorini for the first time on 4/10/2007 for 7 nights. The weather was great throughout with constant sunshine and temperatures in the high seventies fahrenheit. Santorini Airport is small but adequate and we were met by Spyros from the Boathouse for our complimentary transfer to his hotel, a journey... more

Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel, when on the island for a friends wedding. It cost 100Euros for b&b for 2 nights for myself and my husband. We'd confirmed when we were arriving with Diane at the hotel a week before and she arranged that on arriving on Santorini, Spyros was there to meet us for a complimentary... more
