Palacio de Prelo is glorious - incredibly quiet and rural, with delicious food and excellent hosts.

A gem hidden in the Western Asturian hills. A fantastic work of restoration - chapel and saints included! - with wonderful views, a wonderful atmosphere, a wonderful cuisine, and the nicest and kindest hosts. Great for one night - as we did - or certainly for a month of total stimulating relaxation.

Set in awe inspiring scenery, Antonio and Alicia welcomed us into their beautiful home as if we were good friends. The room was spacious and refined, the food was first class and the touring suggestions excellent. This is a must see area and a great location from which to do it.

Luckily we didn't see the bad review before we booked, or we might have missed out on a lovely gem of a place, way off the beaten track, where we spent a delicious night and wished we'd stayed longer.
