Hotel Ambassadeur is clearly oriented toward business people during the week. The hotel was nearly empty on a Saturday night when we stayed to catch an early flight at the nearby Lyon Airport. The room was modern, roomy, quite pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. But the heat pump or whatever served as air conditioning didn't work and we were uncomfortable during the night until the outside air cooled. I'd be careful about staying there in the middle of the summer. Wired Internet was free and worked well. The hotel restaurant is closed on the weekend and the one nearby full service dining option, the Hotel Forum's restaurant served us a dreadfully inedible meal. There is a McDonald's across the street which would have been a better choice. Breakfast was included in the quite reasonable 92 Euro rate for a king bed room and was served in a very fancy dining room.
