Was pleasantly surprised by Macedonia. It was relatively cheap for good standard of accommodation, basic but clean. The grounds were particularly well looked after. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and the pool. I would definitely look for an apartment with the same view rather than the ones overlooking the road.
