“Very comfortable hotel, in the Indian area”

On short notice, we weren't able to find room in any of the heritage inns in Pondicherry, so we chose Shathi, out of Lonely Planet, and we were happy with this budget (1500 ruppee) choice. “Clean rooms”

This hotel is located in the Indian quarter of Pondy. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. The hot water was quite tricky to get working, so mostly cold water showers. Good laundry service. Would stay again.
