I was there for a night at de l orient with my guest, i was surprised that there is no wash room and toilet for the Chauffeur, im from chennai i came with tourist, that's normal in south India the hotels not providing rest room for the Chauffeur, so there's no strange opinion on that! but at least the wash... more

Don't stay hear whatever you have read or heard. We stayed in L ORIENT IN June. We had taken two rooms. Immediately after checking in we had to ask Housekeeping to clean the rooms once again. After 18 trips to India, this was the first hotel where no-one has acknowledged either our arrival or departure. Our room on the first floor was huge and traditionally decorated, which we loved. This hotel had/has a lot of promise and we had a nice room. Unfortunately our toilet leaked. They never fixed it despite repeated requests and didn't acknowledge it or offer a different room. Food however was excellent and the courtyard is elegant. more
