Just returned from HOTEL GOCHALA INN with quite a bitter experience necessary to be shared with fellow travelers. The following points need to be mentioned-
1. Hotel rooms horrible after going thru 4-5 rooms we finally but grudgingly selected one.
Very small gloomy with a namesake TV that didnt work
2. Poor service after 8 no one available & after 10 the telephone was cut off no room service after that
3. Gave trousers to laundry as we had to leave the very next day. Trousers came the next day - drenched! told us iron didnt work + the trouser was ruined as all its color had faded away
4. Breakfast was included in the plan we paid for BUT we didnt get ANY! shocking, aint it?
5. It was all a one man show. He was the only one at the reception, in the kitchen, everywhere!
To sum it up, we HATED our stay there & would NEVER EVER recommend this crap place to anyone.
PS if you can only get THIS hotel as ur stay in Gangtok, CANCEL the TRIP! more
