We, Ben and Bich, had an epiphany to start a tourism business in the middle of nowhere and ourfamily and the rest of the community thought we were mad. Now half of them think it was their idea. Our Mission statement was to create what we'd want if we were on holiday, in this then remote and still beautiful region of northern central Vietnam. Comfortable beds, nice views, a swimming pool, full bar, tasty food and top quality tours/activities. Winning formula, so we thought! We get a lot of customers looking for something different to a backpacker hostel scene, but with a fun atmosphere. Not a Vietnamese hotel atmosphere either. Something unique. Something for everybody. Immerse yourself in the magic of remote rural Vietnam, between the coast and the mountains, in the northern Central region just now being discovered by mainstream tourism. Take yourself on a trip into a photographer's paradise. Our French Colonial style accommodation, set in the idyllic surroundings of rice paddy fields on the edge of the famous Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Heritage National Park just off the Ho Chi Minh Trail, is the ideal base for wild adventures that you have only dreamed about... or simply take time to experience the local village life or chill by the pool. There are many tour and do it yourself options to keep you busy for a few days. Send us an email for more information.

Spent three nights at Phong Nha farmstay. We were a little disappointed at first as our room lacked a few amenities we had expected( e g no coffee making facilities in room, dodgy shower and a bed that was way too hard for us). However, on mentioning this to one of the ladies at reception she arranged to move us to a beautiful villa for remainder of stay. This was one example of the excellent service we had from the whole staff at the resort. In particular, I would like to mention Kaylin who was amazingly helpful and friendly and whose beautiful smile brightened up every day. Kaylin persauded us reluctant oldies to venture out on back of easy rider scooters to Paradise cave. What an amazing experience, riding along misty mountain roads with impenetrable jungle on all sides to a cave that us too awesome to describe but can't be missed. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the pleasant surroundings allowed for many a chat with other guests. If you get the chance to talk with Veronica, the owners mother, do so. She is so knowledgeable about the history of surrounding area. Overall, we would love to stay there again but would book a villa if our budget allows it.

We stayed in one of the very confortable 5 Éléments villas. You can either walk to the main building or get somebody to pick you up. Friendly and professional team in a beautiful surrounding. Great food and great location.. A real family hotel where you feel home and receive all the help you need to visit the region.

We had the pleasure of staying for three nights, if we could have stayed longer we would have. The team running the Farmstay are fabulous and do everything in their power to ensure you have a great time. We borrowed bicycles on one day to visit the Phong Nha caves and on the second day we took the easy rider option to visit the botanical gardens and the Paradise cave. I actually ride a motorcycle at home but preferred the easyrider option so I could enjoy the views. We don’t eat meat , but there is plenty on the menu for fish or vegetarian meals - on one night they did a special chef’s table for vegetarians just for us. We stayed in room 8, which has a four poster bed and two showers. Everything was spotlessly clean and working. They also arranged for us to be picked up from the train station and dropped off at the airport at the start and end of our visit. I would definitely recommend the Farmstay, we would have loved to stay longer and spend time chilling by the pool with a G&T.

Amazing farmstay accomodation in a convenient and lovely location near Phong Nha Ke Bang national park. We stayed for over a week, enjoying the local activities in the park, and the surrounding area. We rented motorbikes from Phong Nha Farmstay, they were so helpful. They also had free pushbike rentals which is a great way to get around the village for free. The food at the farmstay is amazing, from free breakfast to sampling amazing local eats in their chefs tables, there's not a thing on the menu you won't enjoy. My partner and I felt incredibly well looked after not just by the amazing staff, but by the very helpful and extremely knowledgeable owners, Bich and Ben. We were lucky enough to experience warm weather here and got to enjoy drinks and food outside, and their pool, which has a spectacular view. We also experienced some cold rainy days, and being able to sit in their sauna and relax after a long day on the back of a motorbike is next to none.

Phong Nha Farmstay has been a highlight of our trip. The first day we went to Phong Nha Cave. The second day we went to Paradise cave with the easy riders. Our last day we walked to Bong Lai Valley. Make sure to go to the duck stop. We laughed so hard, I still laugh just thinking about it. Sakai, gave us a walking tour thru the valley. The accommodations at the farm stay and the food have exceeded our expectations. I’m so glad we stayed here!

I stayed here for 2 nights, wonderful hosts both Ben and Bích, their staff attentive but with a very relaxed feel. Being on a solo motorbike trip Ben had some wonderful advice for me on my remaining days left on the bike, he really knows his stuff when it comes to motorbikes and Vietnam! Ohh and the Caves were great too! A must see.

This Farmstay is OUTSTANDING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The whole team are incredibly friendly and helpful. You won’t find a better team of people - including the owners who are often present. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The amenities on the Farmstay are also superb - including a sauna and pool! Transport options for day trips are fantastic and the staff go out of their way to ensure you maximise your time and see all the best sites. This is a must visit venue. Great value for money and it is heart warming to know that you are supporting the local community by staying here too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It is so relaxing and a beautiful setting. Most of the staff speak good English. Nothing is too much trouble for the Farmstay. There is a list of local attractions and just by discussing with reception they can help you get the best out of you stay, organise transport, a massage, and laundry returned the same day. I enjoyed my downtime here so much I returned to plan my next 5 day tour in Vietnam. It is magical there and the welcome feels like home !

We booked Phong Nha Farmstay based on the great reviews and it didn't dissapoint. It is a hidden gem nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes. After the hectic Hanoi, it was great to come here and CHILL. The rooms are lovely and spacious and we used the pool every day. We rode the free bikes around to the local town and local market which was very rustic and VERY authentic. Everyone including Thuy and Mai were so friendly. The food was exceptional. Some of the best we had in the whole of Vietnam. Apparently the owner is an Aussie. The farm's serene atmosphere creates a most memorable stay. Perfect for those seeking an authentic Vietnamese experience.

The experience at this countryside inn was quite incredible. The staff were very warm and friendly, and spoke quite good English. They really made Our stay the best. They would talk with us at dinner at length, and had plenty of time to spend with you wherever you were, and helped with any planning, information or transportation issues you had. The food was amazing. We ate here every night and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Try the smoked duck Caesar salad for sure and a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, and also western food such as pizzas. The caves are 30 minutes to an hour away and you can rent motorcycles to go anywhere you want for about eight US dollars a day. bicycles are free and there is a great sauna which I did not expect to use, but was really nice. After our three nights stay, I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend this place for a great authentic Vietnam experience.
