This place is a hidden gem and perfect for the little getaway from civilisation. The accommodation is up on a hill and away from the main road, where our cottage had lovely views of the beach. Fantastic views. Lovely cottage. Clean and tidy. Hosts very welcoming Great place to stay. Only downside (nothing to do with Hydranga Cotteges) was the lack of a good quality restaurant. Punakaiki Resort has the potential and location but way off the pace at the moment. more
