We wanted to stop in Riviere du Loup for whale watching and booked this B&B simply because the other hotels/motels in the town looked boring!
The property is called "the house of my childhood" and is owned by Roseline who moved back to the house after her parents died. I suppose it could be called "the museum of my childhood" as she keeps the house as it was in the 1950's which is part of the attraction of the place. She is so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. Rooms are not ensuite but there are enough bathrooms for everyone and fresh bathrobes are provided.
Prices seem very good value at C$48-58 per room. The location is about 2 -3 miles out of Riviere du Loup more
