This is a new Surf Lodge located on a hidden away beach that few people, even locals know about. the reason is basically access, you need a good 4WD and skills to get in through "the knife" (switchback, dirt, crazy steep), or permission to drive through a forest and ranch that has a better dirt road in (the Lodge owner does the permission bit).

But it's worth it, all the way (three hour drive from Santiago, bit less, bit more). There are just 4 rooms, each with 2 single beds, private baths (granite walls in the showers add a special touch), and each one is at a different level, so the terraces are really private and all look out to the Pacific Ocean.

There is a big living room, where the guests gather, and the owner, Andres Bisquertt, gives a great reception and is always making sure everyone is having a good time and things are working well.
