We had booked one night at this hotel, through the Logis de France, as part of a touring holiday of France and Belgium. Our welcome was distracted - a smiling man came out of a restaurant/breakfast room and handed us a key, telling us it was upstairs on the left. The Beau Rivage is in a lovely spot, right on the banks of the river Mayenne. We had their best room, which was large and comfortable.
