We spent a great weekend in fells and particularly enjoyed our stay at the bridge Inn. The weather was cold and misty with a lot of ice and snow. Inside though the welcome was warm and tehservice excellent. well worth a stopover. More

My brother his son, myself and my three children stayed here for the weekend and had a fab time. The staff at the Santon Bridge Inn are so welcoming, the rooms newly decorated and clean.... More

Upon arrival, we were all made very welcome by Lesley and her dog, Bruce, and we sampled the delicious lunch menu (generous portions) before heading off to walk up Eskdale. We retired... More

Just finished a long weekend at the Bridge Inn which was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We have just returned from a long weekend's stay at the Bridge Inn and thought we simply MUST share our wonderful experience with you..... The location of the Inn could not be more picturesque. It has a postcard setting with a lovely river flowing alongside which is great for morning walks to brush away any cobwebs from the night before... More

I'm not sure i'm allowed to post a review when i actually didn't stay ? However i did interact with this B+B and ultimatley declined to book due to a bizzare phone call, so i do have an impression to share. I was looking for a B+B for the night close to Scafell, this place came up on Laterooms as... More
