The hotel is situated just off a roundabout, adjascent to a busy road, but having said that, the hotel is very quiet. We stayed overnight, booking two double rooms. It is clean, comfortable and only a short drive to the ferry port. Rooms are fine with good ensuite facilities. This place is great value if you are staying overnight for a ferry sailing as we did. Its good value and the rooms were clean a big. Booked a family room and was happy with the offering. Four good size beds (not camper style for the kids), good breakfast etc. Would recommend for a night whilst waiting for the ferry etc to the UK. more
We stayed at the Ibis the day before we took the ferry back to Portsmouth. If you need a hotel close to the ferry port then be aware that this hotel is at a location called La Glacerie which is a ten minute drive from the centre of Cherbourg and the ferry port and certainly not walkable to the town... more
