I should have been staying with the in-laws, but my father-in-law had a nasty stomach bug, so his home was an exclusion zone, and last minute accomodation plans had to be made! Well, every cloud has a silver lining and I visited what has to be one of the best B&B's in the country and well-worth the money. Same cost... More

We spent two nights in this peaceful retreat. So beautiful outside and inside, full of lovely objects, and a lovely autumnal garden with golden and red colours, colchicums and fungi etc. The hosts are perfect, make you feel at home and look after you very well. The accomodation is also perfect. A great place!

Perfect in every way. The property is beautiful, set in delightful gardens. The rooms were very comfortable, extremely well presented and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a delight. Pam and Butch were the perfect hosts; friendly, attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed here when visiting Retford for a wedding and I'm so glad we did. We had the warmest of welcomes from Pam and Butch who made us feel thoroughly at home in their beautiful period house. Just returned from a 2 night stay we received a very warm friendly welcome from Pam and Butch. Their home is delightful and open for your use including the gorgeous gardens ! An easy 15 minute walk into Retford too. Would most defiantly return again. Thanks again Hayley and Alan x
