Great and convenient hotel for short or extended stay. Friendly and efficient stay. Comfort. Healthy meals. Very attentive staff. Location in town for easy shopping, train access within walking distance, easy for tourists to explore the areas . Good highways around Sable - Sur Sarthe to explore the areas. Excellent 10 days stay for me ( woman) .

WARNING: I booked this hotel (in September 2018) because of the early check in and reasonable price. We arrived only to find that reception didn't open until 3pm, so had to leave a car full of luggage in the car park for several hours until it opened. Reception staff wouldn't believe we had paid on line (Booking.com) and insisted on taking a second payment. We have since been trying to recover the second payment and have found both booking.com and the hotel to be very slippery customers. Four months later we are taking them to small claims court. The room was basic but OK, and Sable-sur-Sarthe is a beautiful small town,. Just book a different hotel with a different company!

While the exterior of the property left a bit to be desired, the rooms appeared to have been recently renovated. The rooms are small by US standards, but the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a kettle for making instant coffee or tea. The motel-style rooms did allow an occasional draft under the door, but not a big issue. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but walked to nearby restaurant.

We stayed here for one night. Very simple but excellent with a good sized room, very clean and well furnished with a comfortable bed. An excellent night’s sleep and a very powerful shower (albeit one which tended to flood the bathroom)! We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were much enjoyed albeit breakfast ran a little low on supplies. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed here for one night when driving from Nice to Roscoff,(off the major roads), and this little 'Motel' style hotel could not have been better for us. Very friendly and helpful staff and everything very convenient. NIce clean room, excellent shower, coffee/tea kit in the room and an amazingly good restaurant. The WiFi is good, parking close to your room and the main road right alongside but not a problem with well insulated rooms. My only criticism is that on the booking it appears to be the Hotel Design Resto Novo.... the actual sign is mainly Hotel INN.... the rest of this odd title is in smaller writing underneath... be warned!!! I would definitely stay here again.

This is more like a Motel. Free parking infront of your room door free wifi which makes this a good stay for business or just a one night stay. The room for 2 person has a bed of 140x200 (small bed for 2 people) so this will be nice if you are traveling alone :). The room is modern. I believe when this motel was build the architect forgot to design the drain for the shower. The shower head is only +/- 1.80m from the drain i could just fit underneath. But atleast they have a big showerhead which makes showers very nice :). The breakfast.....Ok hotel-inn you really have to do something about your breakfast. This is the worst breakfast ever! Even Ibis has beter breakfast and they are really poor when it come to breakfast. I only took the koffie and the criossant. I saw bacon that was badly cooked and very sloppy. Scrambled egg that came out of a pack and laying there for hours. What is it with that cereal ! laying there from the breakfast yesterday !! ( i noticed that !!) and that plate of sliced cheese and salami was not covered with dead mosguitos on the plate !!!. You have to do something about that breakfast. Dinner was good i loved the 3 course menu for 17.50 and the karaf of wine was also very nice. Unless i hear that the breakfast changed i will come and stay again in this chain

First impressions: a bit austere. Second impressions: the warm, friendly welcome, the bright, clean well-lit bedroom and well-kept bathroom, the sound insulation, the speedy and reliable WiFi, the storage facilities were all big pluses. We decided to eat at the hotel the first evening and enjoyed a very good meal. Well cooked, nicely presented and pleasantly served. Not sure about the Orvieto, though. For a white wine it was curiously yellowed but as all the bottles were the same perhaps it was a variety with which we were unfamiliar. A peaceful night, and then we were totally unprepared for the breakfast treat that awaited us. Too much to list individually, suffice it to say that we have never had scrambled eggs in a French chain hotel or had everything provided by such accommodating people and for such an astonishing reasonable price. I queried the empty container alongside that of the eggs - the next day, it held well-cooked bacon. We wished we had had more of a run-up and really made a meal of it. The people, the breakfast (and the very handy position; just an easy, flat stroll to the town centre and river) make this hotel a must-stay when in the area.

We booked half-board at this "hotel" (it is really a motel) for two nights but only stayed for one. The room was typical motel chain, not very big, but clean and with a well-appointed bathroom. It was the dining experience that let it down. The hotel website describes a traditional French cuisine cooked by a professional team with an la carte menu available. When we went down to dinner we were greeted by a rather harrassed-looking lady who told us there was no choice of menu that evening. As we were tired and didn't want to go searching for a restaurant in town we decided to eat at the hotel anyway. The first course was just about O.K. - a piece of tuna quiche and salad but the main course was a plate of cold, chicken, cold ham and cold pork with more salad and fries, with a bought-in chocolate mousse to follow. Breakfast the following morning was, frankly, appalling - stale bread and croissants and no boiling water for tea or coffee. Emergencies happen and if the whole kitchen staff had gone down with flu we might have understood but being as we had booked half-board in advance I don't think a slight reduction in our bill would have been out of order. To be avoided.
