Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean, comfortable room with nice size shower room. Basic in room facilities (TV, coffee, kettle, coffee). Reception efficient but not warm. Bar expensive, did not try the restaurant. Parking spacious and locked at night.

Cordialement

Tired of driving, hotel nearest on sat nav. Used chain before standard cost €80 per night + taxes (55c) Breakfast & evening meal varies in cost but basic no nonsense food. Receptionist has limited English & with my limited French we got on just fine. Not the cheapest but clean basic accommodation, acceptable.

Stopped over for one night room small functional clean but old. Most expensive we have paid for a Campanille 72.50 inc of tax plus 20 for breakfast. Very busy lot of coming and going. Breakfast one of the worst experienced in a Campanille doubt if there was 20 euros of food left at 8.00 and pricey (10 euros) suggest you go into town for fresh coffee and croissants at 4! General surroundings unkept. Why do these vary so much stayed in another on completely different must be down to the staff who run it or is it that they have little competition as accommodation is sparse in this area?

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a visit to Le Mans. Our initial booking to stay in Le Mans got bumped and we ended up here. It is about 35 miles from Le Mans making it quite a trek daily. Other than that, the hotel itself is functional. If visiting Le Mans, you will probably be using the place just to sleep - in which case, it does the job. I did not have breakfast in the hotel even though it was included. The town centre in sable has a few cafes - so we simply went to the nearest bakeries for fresh pastries. All in all, the place is quite remote for Le Mans. However, the staff at the hotel were very helpful with all our queries and really accommodating. It is also worth making a trip to the town centre for dinner/brekkie. Try La Sable Sienne for dinner. They do good steak and Lamb.

Room was kept clean and towels changed when required. En suite had ample space and again was kept clean. Breakfast was very good, but the evening meal seemed to be out of the freezer so only ate there one night out four, no vegetables and no salad and hard chips.

A smaller Campanile, run by staff who care. (We were greeted by name every time we entered the restaurant!) The room had been recently refurbished and was perfect. Great new shower (no bath, but that did not bother us). Although it is close to a main road, the rooms are well protected from noise. Extensive wooded lawn at the rear. The usual limited menu but food beautifully prepared.

My wife and I were on a trip home from the south of Spain. This hotel was a little off the motorway but that was a good thing. I am of the impression that it is a newish hotel. Booked over the internet we were give an incorrect address so finding the place wasn't simple. We actually drove past it going to the address we were given, so we had to back track a little. Booking in was made very easy by a very helpful and willing receptionist who seems very keen to speak English. The hotel is just like most other Campaniles I have stayed in. The rooms are very small but clean and adequate for one night. The restaurant was excellent. We were served by a very friendly and helpful waitress who was also keen to speak English. The food first class given the standard of hotel we were in. Parking although in the open there were gates which were locked over night. Guests are given a code should they need access out of hours We will be returning here.
