Don't stay by the poo land compete for a sunbed get out on the beach. We hired a car and went to Famara on 3 consecutive days to surf and body board Great choice of good restaurants try the Peking Duck next to the complex theydid great Vegetarian food more

Tucked away 3 minutes from Avenida Playas (on the northern stretch of the main drag), La Penita itself is just perfect. Not flashy, nor rundown. This was our 5th visit to La Penita. As always we were given a very warm welcome. The apartments are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the whole staff extremely friendly and helpful. The complex is really conveniently, but unobtrusively, situated for the main part of Puerto del Carmen with a wide range of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.... more
