It took three tries but the room I ended up with was fine - my colleague had a fine room the first time. Hotel Baikal is on the main square within view of Lenin's massive head sculpture. A very good hotel - for Siberia. The people in this city make it worthwhile. Some cars even stop to allow you to walk across the street! $30-40 single small bed, $60 double (two small beds, at least where I was). Rooms were clean, good, beds... more
