Nice looking hotel. We have a level sea view room which was lovely. The staff are all so helpful, especially in the main bar area. Food was hit and miss. We didn’t like the food at the fusion restaurant, just not to our taste. The Italian was ok, but you could only visit once during the week. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast in the level Lounge each day. We were advised as we were staying all inclusive any bar food served between 3-6pm was free. This was not advertised anywhere. Nice restful weeks stay.. if you have time, visit the little cove of La Calleta, it is only a few minutes taxi ride away, (about €7) it has beautiful views and great restaurants.

Dear Guest, Many thanks for having taken the time to review your stay. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views from your Level sea view room and the attentive service of our staff, particularly in the main bar area. It's also great to know that the exclusive breakfast in The Level Lounge was a highlight of your stay. We appreciate your feedback on our gastronomic experiences and understand that taste is subjective; however, our Mosaico Buffet Restaurant is renowned for its variety and quality, offering a culinary journey that caters to different palates. We're sorry to hear that not every dining experience met your expectations and would like to assure you that we take all feedback seriously as we continually strive to enhance our service culture. The complimentary bar food service between 3-6pm is indeed a perk we're proud to offer, and we thank you for pointing out the need for clearer communication on this amenity. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Guest Experience Team

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is absolutely fabulous. 5 star. We have had the best weeks holiday just over a week ago. It has recently been refurbished and it is now an adult only hotel (not that I mind kids and was not the reason for booking this hotel) This is the 4th time we have stayed here and it just gets better and better. Our room had everything that was required and kept spotless on a daily basis. The bed was so comfy and I slept so well the whole holiday. The staff are AMAZING and nothing is too much trouble, always smiling and the service they deliver is excellent. From checking in to checking out, the whole experience was faultless. I am not a meat eater and found that there was something for me to eat at the restaurant every day. The chefs work so hard and are very accommodating to any special requests. Laura does an amazing job welcoming you into the restaurant and at no time did we feel it was busy or overcrowded. We stayed on an all inclusive basis ( so worth it for the drinks alone), no measures used here! We managed to get a sun bed every day by the pool as there is a rule that if you leave your towel for more than 1 hour it is removed, so that put a stop to those selfish people leaving their towels out and not coming to the pool until the afternoon. I only have one criticism - the pool bar. There is now only a 'snack bar' which serves all the drinks you can think of, but no hot food, just pre made boxed sandwiches ( which were very dry and limited choice) and fruit and cakes. That is is it! No ice creams either. I would have expected a bit more choice, but for this you have to go up to the main restaurant, which is a bit of a pain when you are enjoying the lovely sunshine and relaxing. The staff that run this snack bar are lovely and friendly and seemed to busy all day as the queues could get quite long, maybe there should be 2 staff serving especially when it first opens at 11 am. That is my only criticism of this hotel and maybe the management team will have a re think and offer more variety at the snack bar as the hotel had only been re-opened for 3 weeks when we arrived. The old pool bar has been turned into a restaurant that is not free to all inclusive guests, you get 50% discount. I can't give this a review as we preferred to go out for a meal in Costa Adeje which is such a good resort. It is down ( and back up) a hill, but found the walk quite nice after a hard day at the pool! I just want to say a 'big thank you' to all the staff at this hotel, we had an amazing time, and didn't want to come home. We will certainly be back next year and would certainly recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family.

We just stayed at the Melia Jardines del Teide Hotel and had such an incredible time. We originally booked The Level Junior Suite with Ocean Views and were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the Sun Terrace room. We booked the all inclusive package which was well worth the price. When we arrived we were greeted by Sam, who kindly helped us with our luggage and brought us to the Level Reception, after which Raul checked us in and explained everything to us. It was very daunting at first with the hotel being so large, but he explained the layout well and we quickly found our bearings. After arriving we first tried the Mosaic restaurant, which is the all-inclusive Buffet option (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). We were greeted by the most incredible hostess Laura, who is an absolute asset to the hotel. She made us feel so incredibly welcome and we developed a great relationship with her over a short 5 day stay. Everyone working at Mosaic were so friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The food offerings were good and many changed on a daily basis, but some staples were always available. The slow cooked meat and cold selection was excellent, as was the dessert bar and Ice Cream! We also tried the breakfast in the Level Lounge which was really good. It’s an A la carte sitting, with a smaller buffet option. This made a great difference and had a variety of options that the buffet did not offer. Breakfast in the Lounge did feel fresher and more relaxing during busier periods, especially dining next to the small Waterfall in the Sun. The Level lounge had a great atmosphere and we loved the fact they had a happy hour daily, that included premium spirits. Snacks and other Soft and Alcoholic drinks are offered daily outside these hours, including wines and the all important bubbly. The Level Pool area was great, Ramon was so friendly and really gets to know the guests staying there. Nothing was too much trouble and he always served with a smile and humour. We also tried Pico Negro, and the food at the restaurant was incredibly good! With our all inclusive package we secured 50% off the final bill, which was already great value. This was so worth it and would highly recommend it. The fresh fish was very tasty, and the Tomahawk steak served table side was cooked exactly to your liking on a hot plate. The restaurant should be advertised more as it’s an interesting fusion of Japanese food. We were also offered a free dinner at Casa Nostra (the Level lounge turns into Casa Nostra at night). This meal was also delicious, the linguine pesto and prawns were the highlight of that meal, but the fruit pastry for dessert was equally good. Our hostess Angelica was equally wonderful, we saw her for each Breakfast and the Evening meal and she met us with a smile and an incredibly friendly welcome each time. We always felt so welcomed and once again, nothing was any hassle. We also spent time relaxing in the bar, Retama. The Bar staff, like all other areas of the hotel, were attentive and polite. Their coffee was also much better than the machine coffee over breakfast and a great pick me up. The bar overlooks the Pool, Ocean and surrounding town which was such a lovely view to relax. The bar also hosted a really fun Glass workshop, where we painted Glass to make a necklace (with a second available to buy). This was a really fun way to spend some time, especially indoors after a little Sunburn… We also loved the Soap Making class for the same reason, taking away plenty of samples and information. The only criticism we had was related to housekeeping and room re-stocking. Our minibar and water was not replenished on the first day and towels were sometimes not replaced. We did follow up with The Level reception who worked to get replacement water for the room, but after they did, the request wasn’t followed through until the next day despite Reception taking care of it straight away. It was a little disappointing but very nit picky. The general room clean could also be improved a little, especially using the turndown service which was somewhat unknown about. Taking towels away and replacing amenities should be easy (some of this however could well have been our Language barrier!). Besides from this, adding some Fresher options to the Buffet (fresh waffles at breakfast rather then large quantities of pre-cooked or a fresh hot station) would be amazing, as would a BBQ or special dining experience. The Tower, 7th Floor accessible via the main reception, really offered incredible views over Tenerife Day and Night, and would be an amazing private dining experience we’d be thrilled to take part in. We were exceptionally happy however with the stay and the room was comfortable and a great size. We keep writing this but all of the Staff at the hotel really are an asset, we truly have never felt as warmly welcomed. The views and the cleanliness of the grounds and facilities (the Gym was also excellent and really well equipped for a Hotel) were fabulous. We are looking forward to making a yearly trip to the hotel because of all of this. A huge shoutout to the following staff who have made our stay truly exceptional: Angelica, Sam, Laura, Ramon, Raul, Isel Mondejar, Daniel, Sheila, Ana Paula, Helena and Paula. We met so many fantastic people that we didn’t get all of their names, but we can’t wait to be back to meet them again. They are all amazing and we cannot wait to be back again!

We had a great junior suit for 3 weeks with pool and ocean view and stayed Half Board "Regular Class" . The Staff were great including Lara the Resteraunt Manager? She was fantastic and kept things organised with her great customer service skills. Cant rember all the bar staff names but they were all great including Angy who always had a smile. Also the fast ballet guy with the theatrical waitering skills that were a performance in themself ,sorry I cant remeber your name but there is a stage waiting for you! The bar should have printed cocktail menue with pricing and not a QR code tile that remindes me of covid days. It would be nice to see those cocktails in "Glorious Technicolour" ! Entertainment was very good with lots of choice and two acts every night that reapeated every week . Have your evening meal early if you want to get a warm outside seat and table in front of the entertainment. The Art lessons were great with the Wonderfull Celia the lesson was just 45mins long, 1 hr 15 mins would be better for those learning but Celia did stay on after lessons finished to help us which was a great bonus , so thanks Celia. There were also many other interesting complimentary activites. Food was good most nights but dining table area could have more comfortable spaceing if they opened up all of the available area in the evening as it was at breakfast. It was often crowded at peak times. The outside dining area was nice when warm and there are outside gas flame heaters that help on cool evenings. Rooms were emaculate thanks to the friendly cleaning staff with clean fresh everything when needed . Fresh free drinking water, tea ,milk and coffe are delivered every day . We didnt use the contents of the fridge as there was a QR code. Wi Fi worked ok in our room Lower pool area was wonderful , plenty of sunbeds and clean towels always available and of course a bar with drinks and snacks. Wont mention the QR codes thst I guess work for the pool area. Quite a hill walk to the beach area but it kept us fit and there is a short cut at the lower pool area that takes you onto the road downtown. All in all we had a great stay Thank You to all the Staff.

The hotel is lovely, well situated, staff v friendly & pleasant. Our nicely appointed room was near a service corridor that had LOUD noises at 04:30, & under the restaurant patio, so again, noise from scraping chairs, trolleys. We complained, but nothing changed. No offer to move us. I’d stay there again, but not in that room or corridor.

Only right I should point out the good points! We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and was based on the melia brand or so we thought and chose to go level in a suite and all inclusive, check in was smooth and the room was fantastic with amazing views of the ocean. Our cleaner did a fabulous job every day. We sat around both pools and they were lovely, we found service around lower pool was non existent but was better round level pool. The drinks are fantastic with premium brands and bottled beerswhich is to be expected with a 5* and cocktails were perfect too. The hotel is well maintained and well looked after in all areas and nice furnishings. NOW THE LETDOWN….THE FOOD I had read other reviews and wondered if people were just fussy but they are right, the food is either cold or Luke warm and of extremely limited choice, just foods that the hotel can make in bulk cheap. There is no outdoor lunch area to eat by pools only a grab and go with a fridge with dry. Unappealing sandwiches, you have to go to the main restaurant albeit you can sit outside, it’s basically the same food at lunch with a small change at evening meal and neither are hot. If you have stayed at any other melia, berut, iberostar, palladium or any other truly 5* hotels you will be seriously underwhelmed with this place, at best the food is 2* There is absolutely no speciality cooking here at the evening meal, other guests we spoke to also agreed it wasn’t a buffet but more of a canteen. It took until the day we were leaving to finally speak to the actual hotel manager after a week of complaining and being fobbed , the hotel have admitted they have problems and blame the food heaters, apparently they are going to sort it but personally I don’t think they will as they would have to close down to refit a total new area and they won’t do that. The hotel only opened in October so it seems they are still trying to find their feet, the manager doesn’t seem to grasp that you can’t charge 5* for 2* food. Staff at this hotel are NOT checking food temperatures especially with meats and rice and management don’t seem bothered, there was a lot of guest complaint about the food and quality and quite frankly I’d be embarrassed if I was management but no they are not bothered. The manager offered me money off if I come back again, which I politely refused as there are far better hotels and I wish I’d booked our honeymoon elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Stayed in a Level junior suite as there were 3 of us and it gave us so much extra space. Everything you could possibly need. We were 1/2 board and breakfast was amazing in level area, food cooked to order so always hot. Unfortunately the evening meal while fab choices of good, was often not hot. Bar was lovely and entertainment enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 days with my husband, brother and wife. Our rooms were perfect with amazing views, very well appointed and clean. The food,( we were half board )was excellent, with a huge choice at both breakfast and dinner. The staff are so friendly especially Laura in the restaurant who welcomed us each day. Unfortunately, my holiday came to a brief end as I fainted during the early hours of our 5th day. The hotel reception called for a doctor who then called an ambulance to take me to hospital where I was checked out thoroughly. My tale is too long to tell but the care and attention my husband received from the hotel was above and beyond and when I returned to the hotel with a clean bill of health, they welcomed me back so warmly I was quite overwhelmed. We booked our holiday with Jet2 and must say the holiday rep Kimberley was most helpful. We will certainly stay at the Melia Jardines Del Teide if we return to Tenerife and have already recommended the hotel to our friends and family. 5 stars.
