The website for Playa Olid does not do it any justice. The apartments are quite large, have a separate bedroom, and a separate bathroom with ceiling to floor tiles, granite sink surround ,and bidet, bath and shower. Booked holiday 2 months before departure and basically wanted something cheap and sunny. Package to Playa Olid fitted the bill at £250 per person self catering for 11 nights. Myself ,my 6yr old son and my friend stayed here from 9th till 16th oct 09. apartments were ok-we were in the green block - room 320. we arrived at 3am and the room was like a sauna!! no air con or fan.. we had a 1 bed apt.my friend went on the sofa bed which was really squeaky!!-she ended... more

just returned from our two week stay there, would not recomend it to any one. The rooms where smelly and dirty, there is no bar resteraunt etc like it stated in the brochure only a pool bar that closes at 6.30, not good for families with small children, bascailly the hotel is rubbish dont stay there. more

We were so worried about going to these apartments but we really enjoyed it!! The rooms are very spacious (no air con though) but you can hire fans etc. from reception. Maids come 5 times a week (not Th or Sun). Pool spot on for our two girls (aged 8 and 12). Plenty of sun beds, bit of a bun... more
