The four of us, in two rooms, achieved a sum total of 3.5 hours sleep at this horribly loud hotel. And the "indoor" noise wasn't a lot better - stone floors and stairs created a superb echo chamber for every passing footstep and conversation.
We had to turn sideways to walk around the bed - there was almost no floor space - you'll have to sleep with your luggage. The shower was almost nautical style - the shower curtain (which was cold and always stuck to your butt) enclosed the toilet and a tiny shower pan.
And the movie theatre (which I guess was closed for a while?) is almost funny. It feels like you're sitting in the front row of an outdoor concert . Even the TV suspended from the ceiling couldn't touch the omnipresent Greek dialogue and background music.
This place is a bust. We packed in the morning and moved to a very very very lovely Hotel Carbonaki not too far away, but in a sound-restricted area. Our hovel at Terra Maria was 60...
