We stayed at the Rigas in early september, and cannot find any fault with it, king size bed, glass shower cubicle and hot water when you want it. Nice breakfasts (its continental breakfast, not full english ! your in greece for gods sake) Natasa and staff very friendly. The village itself is a gem, lovely beach, and really good tavernas,... more

We stayed at the Rigas between 5th and 12th October 2009. We chose the hotel on the basis of its location - well away from the hustle and bustle of some of the other resorts in Halkidiki - and we weren't disappointed. In part, this is down to the fact we stayed at the end of the season and also... more

We had a week at the Rigas from 21st of September . Hotel is beautiful and as described in the Thomson Chique & Unique brochure. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all have sea views which are fabulous. Breakfast as described by other travellers is basic but we were more than happy with the cereals, fruit, bread and croissants provided... more

We received a very warm welcome from the manageress, Natasha. We found the hotel to be clean and very tranquil. Staff were friendly and helpful. A view to die for. Modern feel to the hotel which we liked. Location very good, nice 5 min walk to a wonderful unspoilt Greek town with nice places to eat and drink. A nice... more

We treated my Parents to a holiday for my Dad's 65th Birthday and travelled as a group of four. TRANSFER The trip from Thessaloniki airport took about an hour, no problems with flight or transfer. ON ARRIVAL We had booked a suite but on arrival Natasha only had a booking for a double room. We could have a suite but... more

Hotel outside area: The view is spectacular, each room has a brill balcony facing the sea and overlooking the pool. Balcony has chairs and table (but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry) balcony gets full sun early in the morning but not for the rest of the day or evening. Not enough sunloungers available which was a shame but... more

Agree fully with the previous reviews. Only (minor) complaint is that I felt the drinks prices were a little high compared with the bars/tavernas in the village, which caused people to drink on their balconies with supermarket booze rather than using the bar as a socialising/meeting area. The hotel does not have a restaurant but serves snacks at the poolside.... more

Booked this hotel through Thomson for one week's stay Jul/Aug with my partner, The hotel is located at the top of a hill not too far from the town centre. On arrival the lift wasn't working and we had been given a room on the 3rd floor, but I guess these things happen and one of the employees did help... more

The bedrooms are spotlessly clean, the view from the balcony and swimming area are delightful. Service is friendly but not imposing; no obligation is expected. The walk to a friendly and unspoilt village is no more than a few minutes. The beach which is good for the soul is at the bottom of a few hundred steps, and the climb... more

We have just returned from one week at Hotel Rigas, along with our 7 year old son. We agree with other reviews in that the hotel was spotlessly clean (towels changed daily), family run (warm & friendly), free air-con, free safety deposit box & stunning location, minutes from the village centre. The hotel was re-furbished about 3 years ago, and... more
