This is a really nice place for the money. We paid less than $60 for a double and about $30 for a single. They do, however, charge 5% to use a credit card. More

Bayahibe has several all-inclusive resorts in the outlying areas, but the village itself has two hotels, Hotel Bayahibe and Villa Iguana. We chose Villa Iguana for the price but arrived to find our room under construction. Obviously a no-go. Luckily, we were visiting during the off-season, so there was availability at the Hotel Bayahibe. My mom, sister, and I, all... More

Just returned from our 4th visit to this pretty, well-laid out hotel. It was just as good as previous visits, felt as though we had never left as we met so many guests whom we had met there previously. Like us, they had returned yet again because we all find it an excellent hotel with staff who make you feel... More

While checking the internet searching for simple hostels or hotels in Bayahibe, there is actually just one option in the village itself. Hotel Bayahibe has good rooms and beds, a nice bathroom, and offers a complete breakfast. At 8 o'clock they serve breakfast in an area overlooking the sea and small harbour. Plenty of coffee, a plate with fresh fruit,... More

Small hotel in quaint village. Great hub for water sports. Rooms are bare bones, but are a good size, clean, and safe. They have fridges in all the rooms and have small balconys with water views. Staff speaks vitually no english, so brush up on your spanish or be prepared to use a lot of hand signals. LOL They charge... More

I was recently working in the Dominican Republic, and stayed several nights at the Hotel Bayahibe in the small coastal town of Bayahibe, in the southeastern part of the country. The hotel was clean, convenient, and economical (single room + breakfast about $28 US). Plus, Bayahibe is perfectly located for checking out numerous local attractions, such as Parque Nacional del... My wife and I love to stay in this hotel in Bayahibe. We're volunteers so we cannot afford to stay here but once in a while, but it is comfortable and clean, very close to the beach, and situated right in the middle of town. The breakfast isn't fantastic, but it's good enough and with good-sized portions. It can be... More

Had a few days rest here. Right beside the sea - few 100 metres from beach. Good room - no view on ground floor- probably safer upstairs More
