Shortly: 1. We are backpacking pair travelling on our own, age about 50 each (100 together (!)), Denmark. 2. Spent 3 nights in the hotel 28-30 of October 2008. 3. Staff friendly and nice, some of them speak English. 4. Room clean, with TV if it is important. 5. Good location but the village is a bit boring itself. The... more
When we decided to move from Cabarete to La Romana area, we stayed at this hotel few times while looking for a house. The rooms were always clean, towels changed every day, staff friendly - speaking English too. After we moved here to Dominicus (next small town 5 minuts from the hotel) many of our family members and friends stayed... more
Hi, I stayed at this motel for a few day in the summer of 2007. Lets get this straight first. There seams to be massive confusion about the location of the city of Laromana. Laromana is NOT a beach front city. It about 25 miles from the beach. All the beach resorts are near or around a small fishing type... more
I recently spent 2 nights at the Hotel Bayahibe while my parents were here on a visit and I will never go back. Having stayed at the hotel once before, several months earlier, I suggested it to my parents without hesitation for the reasonable rooms and decent breakfast included in the price. Unfortunately I was not aware that rooms on... more
Me and my girlfriend went to visit family in Bayahibe and decided to stay at the hotel. The room was basic but had a TV and a ocean view from our balcony. The location was nice and quiet yet close the beach, restaurants and bars. The hotel offers wrist bands to access a beach close to the all inclusives which... more
My friend and I spent 5 days in bayahibe in early April. We had planned to spend just 2 but quickly realised that we needed to house oursevles for semana santa before all seaside rooms on the island ran out so extended our stay! The place is not perfect but is definitely very good value for the price and is... more
This hotel is very clean and the rooms quite spacious for the price. Friends stayed just down the block for only a few dollars less and had a much lesser quality room. The breakfast option was also nice. There are really not very many places to eat in Bayahibe and it made it comvienient to get our day started early.... more
Made a three night stop here in early December 2006, while driving around the island, and enjoyed the best value-for-money ratio of the whole trip. An important thing to mention is that this hotel is NOT a beach resort style hotel unlike most other hotels in the area. It is located right in the middle of the Bayahibe village, about... more
