just returned from 3 night break in ashford castle, very very high standards, staff exceptional, buffet breakfast, best i have eaten, all fresh and home made, credit to all, 15% service charge on food and drink over the top in current times, activities and walks were brill, wil be back. more

Stayed here recently and it was a fantastic weekend. Castle lovely, staff fantastic, food and drink excellent. Large comfortable bedrooms with nice view of the lake. Very expensive but worth it and I would definately recommend a trip here. Only fault is that there is no swimming pool and the spa area is a bit tired ! more

Of greatest disappointment to us was the owner's decision not to black out reservation dates to host his daughter's wedding reception which turned the grounds into a major worksite.
