You need a car. The village/town is nice enough but not much going on there. The hotel was fab, could not fault it in any way, room cool and clean, food stunning. Pool great. Staff English speaking and nice. Breakfast fantastic. We stayed 4 nights and ate in Verona twice, 10 to 15 mins drive with sat nav no problems.... more

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights after Lake Garda. I must say the staff were wonderful, the restaurant fab and the rooms both stylish and chic. We had sole use of the pool and gym facilities which were impeccable. The concierge also arranged a transfer to the opera for us, I had not planned to... more

Comfortable beds with nice low pillows, the sofabed was not that nice. The tv had no CNN, only Italian ones. The room was built in 17th century style, very nice, but it was facing the street side, so it was a bit noisy. No free wifi, but you can pay for it. Buffet breakfast with friendly waiters. The pool was... more

This fabulous hotel is situated about 20 - 25 minutes by car / bus outside Verona. It is ideally located for those wishing a quiet stay outwith the busy city but close enough by car, taxi or bus that you can still enjoy everything that Verona has to offer, including the opera at the arena which is a must. The... more

Stayed just one night as a stop over, this is classy hotel, great rooms with loads of character as has the whole hotel. Bus times from Verona train station were more regular that I found stated on the Italian buses web site and I think that as it was august there was a special deal on so it was just... more

we stayed here for 6 nights and chose this hotel because we wanted a large room for 2 adults and our 2 daughters (15 + 10) & a swimming pool. Room had a king sized bed + a sofa that opened up to another king sized bed. I loved this the look of this hotel on the website and we... more

We stayed here our first night in Italy after landing in Milan. We were on our way to Venice but needed a place to stop over for the night. We arrived very early and thankfully the hotel allowed us to check in early. We rented a family room with one king size bed and a pull out double sofa bed.... more

We stayed here at the beginning of April and it was super. We had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was fine, (we more or less had it to ourselves). There might have been a problem if more than 3 families were using it at the one time.Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Breakfast... more

What an amazing hotel - especially for the cost. A short drive away from Verona centre (10 minutes) but in a really quiet location which is perfect for a romatic break. The room was lovely - antique furniture, brand new bathroom, comfy bed. The reception staff were really helpful. The pool area was great and also quiet (we went in... more
