We had to change our reservation, and they were very accommodating. The front desk staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. We loved the welcome glass of champagne, the bikes, and the excellent breakfast. A truly lovely experience.

This is a lovely hotel in a pleasant spot. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, which makes up for the lack of a restaurant at the hotel itself - although we did have a 'snack' at the hotel one evening which was quite sufficient to accompany a bottle of local wine.

We loved staying in Remorino. Fantastic room with balcony overlooking beautiful gardens and lake. Room was extremely clean and well appointed with lots of space. The Garni Hotel is sort of secluded and in a quiet area (where people actually live and/or have their vacation apartment). It is very close to the lake and you can walk along the lake to Locarno (or take one of the hotel bikes). Rooms are decent and the lake-view rooms have a balcony (which is very nice).

My husband and myself stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Hotel has a feel of a private villa, and its just 15min walk to Locarno , along the lake.
