Our visit began with a warm welcome from the manager, who spoke excellent English. We decided to change rooms from the back of the hotel with no view to a lake view room with balcony at the front. it was exactly what i expected from a four start italian hotel- very large, comfortable, clean rooms. there was a bit of street noise but we were there on a friday night and the stairs were just outside of our room. dinner at the restaurant cafe was delicious, it was very popular with locals and tourists alike. breakfast was fine... more

The Hotel Lovere is certainly not luxurious - just a nice 3 star. Although it is facing onto the road there is a noisy road infront of the hotel and a silly lampost that is never on anyway spoiling the view (as is the dreadful awful abyssmal police and fire building in the middle of town!!! - it wants burning... more
