We stayed at this hotel as part of a three-day organized trip with private guide and driver to the Chengyang/Longsheng area. The hotel is apparently oriented towards Chinese customers exclusively. A stay in this hotel is like a time-travel into the 1970s in a socialist East-European country. The bulbs in both(!) bedside lamps were burned out and had to be replaced by the hotel staff.
The public areas (hallways, lobby, restaurants) were dark and spooky. Although no-one at the reception spoke any English, they were quite helpful when we asked for a hair dryer and a couple of other things with the help of our "Point-It" book (having this book with us in China was a good idea).
Our guide had ordered a "Western breakfast" for us, which was apparently a completely unknown concept to the hotel...
