We stayed at Hotel Cully in Niederbronn in north Alsace for a few days. It is a charming family owned hotel. I have mixed feelings about this place. The hotel is relatively nice and quiet, it is in downtown, 15min walk from the famous Casino, there's a cute creek just aside the building as well as a park where we saw many seniors walking. The dining area is cozy and shows impressive ceiling woodwork (plafonds magnifiques en chene massif).
I had more mixed feelings about the room. We were put in the annex building. I found the room to be mediocre and the furniture was old and unattractive (definitely unlike the nice images seen on their website). Also the bed was small compared to the king i am used to, but I have been informed that this size is the norm in France. The bathroom was one of these small airplane or train types (plastic type) where only 1 person can fit so water was everywhere. In conclusion I would recommend the restaurant but not the hotel
