What can I say? We had an excellent time at the Apollo (myself, partner and sons aged 9 and 13) Room was fab with one bedroom and two sofas/beds in lounge area. I have just come back from staying at these apartments which i booked through Thomas Cook. The apartments did what they said clean but basic. I think where these apartments win is the view is totally idillic. the location is as some have said quite far out of town about 35 minutes walk, hard with kids especially in the heat... more

We went to the Apollo in June 2007 and had a wonderful time. We love quiet holidays and this proved just that. Great out of town location - the apartments are positioned on a cliffside overlooking the beautiful crystal blue Cephalonian sea. The area is quiet although Skala is easily accessible by taxi at a cost of 5 euros, the apartment owner will organise this for you. We stayed at the Apollo Apartments in Skala from the 01/06/06 through to 08/06/06 with Thomson Holidays. We found the accommodation very quiet and the perfect base to chill by the pool and relax watching the boats sail by from the cliff top.
