We had a great stay at the Leonardo Apartments. Apartment was well equipped, bed really comfortable, daily towel change. Lovely view of the bay. We used the hotel pool and bar which was just around the corner. We liked the location, its on the quieter end of the bay and I would definitely stay here again,.

Very clean and tidy. The only issue we had was the evening entertainment started quite late. Too late for our 5 & 8 year old, however they are early to bed and are not used to staying up, so if your kids ok with that it wouldn’t be a problem.

Fabulous, perfect location great for children with fabulous entertainment, pools and right on the beach. Staff were all welcoming and food was excellent. Only down point was the very slippery area around the pool which needs attention.

I decided to give it a few months after our trip before writing this review as I felt it was only fair to let the dust settle and see how I felt. Firstly due to delayed flight we arrived at the hotel around 11pm . We did not feel welcomed at all and more of an inconvenience and a long wait to be given keys to our room . The room was tiny but fairly clean and tidy with a tiny balcony but a beautiful view of the bay . The only thing on offer to eat at that time were left over rolls , cold meat and the all inclusive package drinks were only available until 11pm. The hotel itself is a lot more run down and basic than pictures led to believe but the most beautiful setting right on the waters edge and you can walk across the beach to the small town with a handful or restaurants and shops . The staff were very unfriendly in general bar the lovely girl who greeted us at breakfast who is an amazing artist . There was absolutely no atmosphere here at all day or night oh! bar when at 4am when the entire hotel was woken and evacuated with a fire alarm going off as someone had apparently smoked in their room. No staff made any efforts to reassure the guests or help get everyone out it was every man for himself ! ... we were outside for around 1/2 hour . No apology ,no explanation , nothing. The food was in general terrible so we ate out each night . The pancakes at breakfast were nice . When we arrived back to the room on the evening of the second night there was an electric card in and lights & tv on yet we had both our keys with us ? and whilst getting ready to go out I noticed several bits of expensive makeup were missing from my bag. My partner went straight down to reception and they assured us that the manager would be in touch and this would be delt with . Day 3 no word from the manager or staff so asked again and again we were fobbed off with the same rubbish and so on.. we told reception we did not wish anyone to be in our room from then on until we left . Three months later and I am still waiting for the manager to call me . So badly handled. So I guess my advice would be avoid this hotel at all costs , over priced for what it is . The only thing this hotel has going for it is its perfect setting in a quiet town . Disappointed to say the least especially with the level of customer service you receive at this hotel . Be careful.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like there were several aspects of your stay at the hotel that did not meet your expectations. Feedback like yours is crucial for both potential guests and the hotel management to understand areas that need improvement. Here are a few points that stand out from your review: Check-in Experience: Arriving at a hotel should be welcoming, especially after a delayed flight. It's unfortunate that you felt more like an inconvenience than a valued guest. This is an area where the hotel could focus on improving its customer service, particularly during late hours. Room Quality: While it's good to hear that your room was clean and offered a beautiful view, the size and amenities seem to have been a letdown, especially when compared to your expectations set by the hotel's promotional materials. Dining Options: Limited late-night dining options and the quality of food not meeting your standards are valid concerns. The hotel might benefit from reviewing their food services and considering extended hours for all-inclusive packages, especially for guests arriving late. Staff Attitude and Emergency Response: The unfriendly attitude of the staff and the lack of support during the fire alarm incident are worrying. Proper training in guest relations and emergency procedures could be beneficial for the staff. Security Concerns: The incident with your makeup and the unexplained presence of an electric card in your room with lights and TV on raise serious security concerns. The lack of follow-up from the management is disappointing and something that the hotel needs to address urgently. Overall Atmosphere and Value: Your overall impression of the hotel lacking atmosphere and not offering value for money is a significant takeaway for both the hotel management and potential guests. Thank you again for sharing your honest feedback. Reviews like yours play a crucial role in helping hotels improve and assisting future guests in making informed decisions. Sincerely, Angelo Buonarota - Operations Manager

Our overall experience is rated at 3. We stayed here end of September as a family of 3 via jet2. Be very carefull booking a comfort room if your a family there is literatlaly no room at all the rooms are tiny , very little storage too. The cases dont fit under the bed unless you remove the middle leg supports I took the sofa out to make more room so the cot would fit which made it better. The seaview was nice but the balcony is so small.. The rooms are clean and cleaned everyday. Tea & coffee in your room & a fridge. Check in was absolute chaos.... we arrived at 1pm & our room wasnt ready until 5pm. It was the same for pretty much everybody. Also worth noting there is a city tax to pay on check in x2 people €45 We stayed all inclusive.... all boards are avalible at this hotel ...you have the option to upgrade whilst you are there but it seemed quite exspensive to do directly with the hotel i think for 2 people it was €70 per day. Food was ok usual all inclusive buffet - my wife is coeliac & required gluten free which they accomadted for some days were better than others. Drinks were good , cocktails were really good and all the bar staff are great. The location is great right next to the beach... the kids pool where we spent most days with our 18 month old daughter was great & not too busy. The staff work hard keeping everyone entertained. The local area is on the quieter side... theres bars & restaurants around the harbour its quite nice in the evening. Its a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

We visited here on the 8th-15th October, when we arrived there was a short queue to check in which was no problem at all. The receptionist was friendly but it did take a while to check us in, a very slow process. By the time we'd checked in it was about 2.45 and she said if we were quick we could still make lunch so we dropped our suitcases in the storage and went to the buffet. Lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, lots of choice. Unlimited drinks, food, snacks etc with the AI. Staff in the restaurant were very abrupt, it was like you were an inconvenience to them if you were standing where they needed to be. They didn't speak when clearing your plates either they just lent right across you. Then we went to find our room because we'd booked a suite we were in a different building which was just across the road, not even a 2 minute walk. Very safe and secure as you needed your key card to get into the building, found our rooms. Big, spacious rooms. I appreciate what people say about lack of storage space in the bedroom but there is another wardrobe in the living room with extra pillows etc. 2 sofas, a dining room table and a small kitchen. Our balcony had a pool and sea view which was nice. I know we went out of season and the hotel was closing soon but the entertainment was awful, they put on a week of halloween 'activities' which were all for kids, there wasn't any daytime activities for adults not even aqua gym or anything. The evening entertainment was just as bad kids mini disco starting at 9pm? and then some kind of act if you were lucky if not the 'cinema'. The one entertainment girl we did see was useless, she didn't speak, don't even think we saw her smile, no engagement with her guests at all. Luckily we don't go on holiday for the entertainment. Good points: • great location • clean • good variety of food • outdoor bar staff were great • good drink choice • bali beds • comfy room Bad points: • entertainment • most staff were unfriendly Overall we would come back because the hotel itself is lovely and the location is excellent.

We stayed in a pool view room half board. Pros 1. Lovely location stone throw from the beach. 2. Lovely pools (though splash pool not on kid a bit disappointed) 3. Clean and tidy 4. Food was decent good variety though not a lot of choice for kids for dinner. 5. Easy to use bus to get to next town Negative 1. The staff are miserable, no hello or smile between them, I asked for directions to kids club to be told I don't know and they walked away? 2. Check in took a while and the reception staff no help except the younger night man who said morning. 3. Entertainment is non existent, kids club happens way too late the sheet telling what's on had the wrong info on it. The Halloween tunnel was ridiculous waited 30 mins to move three spaces at 9.30 at night had to bribe the kid to get him to leave it. 4. Smoking at the entrance of the hotel is disgusting 5. Room tiny 3 beds and no hanging space not room to swing a cat. 6. Had a door in room to the next apartment you could hear everything

I stayed here with a couple of friends for a long weekend. We had a fantastic stay. Our aim was to rest and relax and we certainly did. Food was good, plenty of choice, we really enjoyed the tasty salads, pancakes in the morning and the omelette station, to name a few. Staff were really polite and helpful. Only negative was the size of room, we stayed in a triple superior and we found not enough space to hang our clothes so had to live out of suitcase, not a real issue for a weekend would have been more irritating after 2 weeks…. Wouldn’t stop me coming back though. Leo and Christina and the entertainment team were amazing. Leo is very funny. The Halloween show they put on was amazing, you could tell they had put a lot of effort into it. Looking forward to my next visit.
