We stayed at Villa Almarik and loved it. I have pictures of it too. Flowers everywhere, The staff was top notch and very nice, the grounds were absolutely beautiful, the rooms were spacious, clean....large bathrooms, fresh water showers...you name it. The Villa Alamrik is not, as descibed, one of the top locations on the gilli island. While the villa may be passable as a budget location, there are much better places to stay on the island and compared to the Ombak, this is not even close to being in the same league.
