Arriving from Hong Kong you quickly realize Macau is more like the Mainland than it is to HK and this hotel is no exception. The service was good, with a strong desire to please but still a bit lacking in a hotel of this price range. Check-in was delayed well past 3pm. Room cleaning was spotty and a bit awkward:... More

One of the luxurious hotel in Macau. Have no regrets on paying the price. Beds are so comfy, room is spacious and modern and clean. Kids get their own slippers, toiletries set and even toddler potty...how thoughtful. Breakfast are awesome, very personalised service and great food. Meals are order to cook...in any style you prefer. Their chef will personally serve... More

I booked a short stay (2 nights) through my airline miles program. I was afraid to get a bad deal because of that, but I was treated as royalty. The property is new and located in a quiet side of the casino strip. It is at walking distance from the historical city center. The staff is friendly and very helpful... More

This hotel is located on the Macau Peninsula, whereas the majority of big hotels are on Taipa...so it's a great escape from the chaos of casino's. It's near the older part of Macau and has plenty of local bars in walking distance as well as MGM hotel and casino attached as well. Breakfast was great, and the hotel bar amazing.... More

This hotel delivers what is expected with an MO property. Service, cleanliness, attention to comfort and detail. Macau itself was a treat, and if you are not into smoky casinos, I can't imagine a nicer place to stay. The saff is trying hard, but if you've traveled in China (SAR) you know that the service is an issue. In general,... More

Stayed here with family at the end of 2012. I was there to see the water dance show. The Mandarin Oriental is great if you want peace and quiet, away from all the smoke and bustle huste. If you want to gamble you can walk tot he MGM right beside you can walk though a corridor. Overall it's a hotel... More

A wonderful hotel 6-star hotel which is unlike most hotels in Macau does not have a casino. If you want to try your luck, you can walk about 8-10 minutes through a shopping mall which connected with MGM. It is most graceful for us because we both not a big gambler. On arrival, we were fastly checked-in. Though our room... More

This is by far the most attentive hotel I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by name and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was a deluxe room and the attention to detail was amazing. The beds are very comfortable and bathrooms well designed. Breakfast was fabulous with a large choice of foods... More

We visited here for a weekend in mid-March 2013. The property is fabulous as one expects from MO hotel group. Small hotel feeling but great views of Macau Bay and City. Directly connected to the One Central Luxury Mall and two minutes walk to shopping and restaurants. The Mall is connected to MGM Grand and Wynn Casino's. You're only ten... More

We chose our hotel in Macau carefully, as the purpose of our visit was to explore the old town rather than to gamble. As a result, the lack of a casino was a factor in our choice of the Mandarin Oriental. The exceptional service began the minute we stepped off the hydrofoil, having arrived directly from HongKong International terminal. A... More
