I was in this beautiful hotel with 2 small children, for a few days.
There are no stairs, so it wasn't that easy to get to the room with the suitcases and children, but except for this, it was very comfortable. The room we got was a big one (for a family), with view over town (which is small and quiet). It was very comfortable.
The reception did speak English (always), but in the restaurant we sometimes had some language problems... Everyone was very helpful, though, and tried their best to help us, all with a smile.
There was internet connection in some areas of the hotel, not in our room. But there was no problem working in the Lobby when necessary.
There even was a (very) small playground for the children, which was fun.
Except for a business conference or alike, I see only relaxation as a good reason to stay in this place (which is a very good reason, by the way). Maybe it's best to come with a car, so one can go around, and return in the evening.
