We visited the hotel in peak season. The room was excellent, but apart from that everything else was of a poor quality. More 3 star than 5. Was staying in a friends apartment in Altea Hills and used the hotels restaurant 3 times. Why we went back a second time is beyond me let alone a third time. Only stayed one night but loved this hotel, had a beautiful suite, with a lovely balcony and fabulous views of hills and sea beyond pine trees. Meal in restaurant at night was fair, not fantastic, but breakfast served in the room at no additional charge was just perfect. Would love to stay again. more

The idea of booking half-board, and then having to reserve the restaurant is, to me, an alien concept..
