I booked an overnight stay as I needed to attend a meeting in Taunton and noticed the Burnham on Sea carnival was on so booked into The Victoria Hotel. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the town and the carnival passed the front door! Parking is limited and the bars were OK but could do with some comfortable seating. There is a wide range of pub food and the prices were competitive. Breakfast was served in the Lounge Bar at either 8am, 9am or 10am. It was freshly cooked and of a good quality. We paid £70 for a double room including breakfast. The room was very clean and cosy, the heating was on and the bed was comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was spotless and looked to be newly decorated and was well appointed. I wouldn't go out of my way again to visit Burnham on Sea but The Victoria Hotel served the purpose of our visit well and you could do a lot worse. more
