We have just stayed at Craighurst before and after our wedding. Gwenda and Peet were on holiday so Gwenda's parents were our hosts. They were absolutely lovely, and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself is very nicely done - each of the four rooms is themed to a local trail - whisky, coastal, royal etc - with all... more

First, Gwenda and Peet are wonderful hosts! They do everything to give you are warm and pleasant stay at their beautiful guesthouse. Second, our room (royal room) was very charming, well-spaced and comfortable with a clean and tidy en-suite bathroom. Third, we had the best breakfast ever in the UK. Go and try their 'eggspeciality' and you know what we... more

After a day of touring and traveling, we were so excited to stay at such a beautiful B&B. The Craighurst Guesthouse is in a smaller town located right beside Strathisla distillery. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room ( the royal room). We were delighted to have a beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed... more

A little late but no less heartfelt. We had a great time here, Big bedrooms very individual and very comfortable. Calm and perfectly situated. Great care was made in making us feel welcome. Good breakfast ie healthy (and unhealthy :-) ) options readily available. And the bottom line, a very reasonable price. An excellent base for travelling around Speyside. more

Having to travel for business, I have to stay away from home at least once a week. I've become Travelodged, Thistled, Holiday Inn Expressed and Premier Lodged out. This guest house puts them all to shame.... in fact, I think the vast majority of hotels/B&Bs in the UK would struggle to compete with every standard which the Craighurst sets. If... more

My husband and I travelled from Melbourne, Australia and we stayed in the delightful Craighurst for 5 nights in June 2009. We absolutely loved the house, the breakfast and the hospitality we received and would definitely stay there again without any doubts. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The couple's two little boys are a delight and very well... more

The Craighurst has the most beautifully appointed rooms I have seen in any B&B, and at a great price. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very accommodating. I have only good things to say, even though we only stayed a very short time and did not get the chance to luxuriate in our rooms quite enough! My only, very... more

We stayed for one night at the Craighurst Guest House and found it to be the best and friendlies B&B that either of us have stayed in, in the whole of Britain. From the exceptionally comfortable and spacious rooms to the hospitality and warm welcome received from Peet and his family. There were 6 varied breakfast options ranging from a... more

Craighurst Guest House is a beautiful, very well kept bed and breakfast. The home is beautiful with simple and stunning refurbishment. It has a lovely garden in the back, a big park across the street and is a neighbour to Strathisla distillery, which is very picturesque. The hosts are a lovely couple with sweet young children who like to help... more
