A group of us stayed who were doing the Hauraki Rail Trail and we were all happy with our stay. Except no coffee plunger! The family unit was small and therefore I felt z bit overpriced but it was fine

Te Aroha Motel is located below the hot pools. Over many years the place has been maintained to a high standard. The managers are helpful and friendly. Every time we booked the hot pools they offered extra towels. Nothing was too much trouble. My favorite motel in NZ.

We slept well after riding the hauraki rail trail from Thames to Te Aroha. Te Aroha Motel was great value, hospitality and comfort second to none. We can recommend it to anyone, thank you. The motel is next t the beautiful historic spa baths in the domain. Te Aroha is a lovely historic town to visit.

This is an older style motel, with quite small units, but everything you need is there, and it's very clean and well equipped. The location is great, next to the lovely Te Aroha Domain, and just a short walk along the main street to cafes, restaurants and the supermarket.

We had a family room, 2 single beds in one room and 2 more in the lounge. The room was lovely, clean and tidy. They provided free sunscreen and insect repellent. The coffee, tea, sugar and not chocolate weren't the crappy type you'd expect from a small less expensive motels. They even offered me free wireless Internet, normally $10. My... More

Stayed one night after cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail from Paeroa. Lovely, clean, tidy motel with unexpected extras like mints and biscuits. Managers very friendly and helpful. Happily stored our bicycles in their garage so they were secure and were happy to advise us on places to visit and restaurants they recommended. Shower had amazing water pressure and even air... We stayed at Te Aroha motel for 2 nights as part of a group. We had room 1 which was upstairs. The motel is quite old but has been nicely renovated. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed plus more! I was pleasantly surprised to find a good quality hairdryer and power points in just the... More

Real and genuine Kiwi atmosphere and service at it's best. Different members of our family have stayed at this motel numerous times of the last 2 years, and we all just love it. Christine and Arnie are just perfect hoteliers - they are warm and friendly and really care about their guests. Sue who assists in the day-to-day property management... More
