Where do I start? My wife and I have just returned after spending six days at Castel Brando. The previous five days were spent in Venice, and after the hustle and bustle there, this was sheer bliss. This hotel is a major complex, however just as well suited for conferences with large numbers of guests, as it is for a small family of three as we are. Castle Hotel in small village. Stunning setting. Room and bath nice. Drove there, somewhat adventerous. Been there midweek and hotel was almost empty. Most restaurants in hotel were closed (except the very expensive one). Breakfast buffet very good. Price OK. Stunning views over area as hotel is on hill.
