Location wise, this hotel is on a main busy road 7km from Lille. We stayed here as part of Shearings coach tour to dutch bulb fields. The rooms were of an adequate size with plenty of room and lots of light from the large windows. Ours was overlooking the swimming pool and grounds on the quiter side. The room itself... More

When you enter a hotel reception area and the focal point is a pool table in the center it does help describe the hotel. Not that I saw anyone playing on it..The average age of visitors on the day I arrived must have been over 75 - not saying they don't play pool, just didn't see them use the table.... More

We stayed her as part of a Shearings coach tour on a return journey from Holland. The evening meal was good, and included a glass of wine. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and quickly served a coach-load of people. The room we had was on the 1st floor, and although it was comfortable it was a little shabby... More

We stayed one night as part of a coach package in December. We booked a triple bed room but was given 1 Queen and 2 single, good sized fold/single beds on the first floor. Very helpful, efficient and friendly staff. Our location seems quiet. Very fresh items for their continental breakfast - delicious croissants, jams and sliced breads. We have... More

Stayed here for one night on our way to Germany as part of a Coach tour. The hotel used to be a Novotel but isn't now. The Reception was clean and tidy and friendly staff. The room was a little shabby but clean and tidy although the bathroom sinks plug didn't work and was a pain to remove and the... More

This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel, the first was when it was undergoing building works. To be honest the Altia is a bit of mixed bag with some good and bad points. It is clean, the rooms are above average and the staff helpful. They also have some good facilities, with an outdoor pool and... More

We were booked in here by Shearings, one of a number of businesses who use this big and impersonal hotel. That it caters for groups is obvious from the number of function rooms, and our driver was at pains to ensure we understood in which room we would be eating. Bedrooms are modern, spacious and clean, with separate toilet and... More

Shearings use this hotel on the outskirts of Lille for overnight going to and returning from holiday. It is pleasant and has all mod coms including wifi. The food is good but it appears that they serve the same meal to us going and coming.. Breakfast is continental-style but very filling....we had to set off very early bioth times so... More

Have stayed several times overnight at this hotel and staff are very polite and friendly. Everywhere is very new, bright and clean. Rooms a good size with nice bathroom. Very comfortable beds. The hotel is located close to motorways and used mostly for overnight stopovers for onward travel , so there is nothing close by that you can walk to.... More
