We used the castle as a base for day trips to the surrounding towns of Todi, San Gemini, Spoleto and the Umbrian countryside. Excellent breakfasts and dinner at the Inn's restaurant. Very gracious and hospitable staff. Nice room with smallish shower. Only downside was the somewhat uncomfortable bed: A soft number in the classic split-twin-smashed-together-to-make-a-double sort of way.
